Ugandan winger Erisa Sekisambu has switched clubs in the Rwanda Premier League.

The former KCCA FC and Vipers player has moved from Kiyovu Sports to join AS Kigali in the same division.

Ssekisambu is said to have joined the Kigali-based side on a two-year contract.

Meanwhile, AS Kigali finished fourth on the log, with 47 points.

It is yet another new club for Ssekisambu, who has become a journeyman of sorts in his footballing career.

In the Uganda Premier League, the pacy winger has played for record champions SC Villa, KCCA FC, Vipers SC, Express FC and URA FC.

He has also previously featured for Gor Mahia in Kenya and Taxien in Malta.

The new season is already underway in Rwanda and Ssekisambu’s new club fell 2-0 to his former side on Saturday.

Kigali are sixth on the log after two match days and have accumulated three points from the opening two games.

Uganda is well represented in the Rwandan league, with big names like Tadeo Lwanga, Simon Tamale, Charles Bbale, Joachim Ojera, Musa Esenu and Nicholas Ssebwato all plying their trade in the same division.
