Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi considers Arsenal's Declan Rice to be among the toughest opponents he has encountered.

Rice has been instrumental for the Gunners since joining the club last season, with the team currently in the semifinal of the UEFA Champions League.

The England international gave Arsenal an edge against Real Madrid, having won the man of the match award in both legs.

He has received praise from Iwobi, whom he has faced on several occasions at West Ham and at Arsenal.

Fulham's Alex Iwobi, according to TBR Football, has lauded Declan Rice, acknowledging the difficulty of facing the 26-year-old midfielder.

He said, “Nah, he’s [Declan Rice] a big baller. Even when he was at West Ham. Not only is he great technically, he runs everywhere, he covers every blade of grass. 

“When I’ve played in midfield it’s annoying trying to track him and get away from him. He’s good on the ball and he’s gonna work as hard off the ball. He’s a great player for Arsenal to have, and for me he’s definitely one to be world-class.”

Central to the Gunners' achievements in both Premier League and European competitions have undoubtedly been Rice's exceptional performances.

The midfielder is looking to lead the Gunners to their first European trophy as they prepare for their clash against PSG.
