Kenyan footballer Amos Nondi faces a career setback as his market value takes a sharp decline.

Kenya international Amos Nondi finds himself at a pivotal juncture in his career as his market valuation takes a significant hit.

According to the latest report from Transfermarkt, Nondi's market value has experienced a sharp decline in recent months, casting a shadow over his transfer value.

In June 2023, Nondi was valued at €250,000, making him one of the ten most expensive Kenyan players in the market.

Transfermarkt, a reliable source for tracking footballers' market values, documented this decline.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Nondi's current market value stands at only €225,000, marking a considerable €25,000 loss in just six months.

Nondi's journey from a promising talent to facing this career crossroads has been a rollercoaster.

The versatile defender-cum-midfielder's market value began to fluctuate between May 2022 and December 2023, starting at €350,000 and gradually dropping to €250,000 by June 2023, a figure that remained stagnant until the recent drop.

Several factors can be attributed to Nondi's decline in market value, including a series of injuries, a dip in form, and Aratat's less than impressive season performance.

These challenges have taken a toll on the combative Kenyan midfielder, and his once-promising career trajectory has now taken a different turn.

Nondi's football journey commenced in the youth team of Gor Mahia, where he honed his skills before being loaned out to Sony Sugar in 2015.

This loan stint provided him with vital Premier League experience, which would prove valuable in his future endeavors.

Returning to Nairobi at the start of the 2016 season, Nondi was swiftly promoted to Gor's senior side, where he became a fixture in the matchday squad.

His versatility, capable of playing as both a defender and a midfielder, made him a valuable asset for his team.

In July 2017, the 22-year-old made a move to FC Kolkheti, then featuring in the Georgia top flight.

His football journey continued to evolve as he joined Dila Gori in January 2018. Nondi's experiences in Georgia further sharpened his skills and provided him with international exposure.

Nondi's departure from Georgian side Dila Gori at the end of last year marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career.

He made a significant transfer move to Ararat, his third club in Europe, in January on a free transfer. The decision to join Ararat came with high expectations, as he signed a two-year contract with the club.

Interestingly, Nondi was not alone in his move to Ararat, as he teamed up with fellow countryman Alwyn Tera, who had been with the club since July 2021.
