Former Uganda Cranes defender Hassan Wasswa is enjoying life in his first job as a coach at the International University of East Africa.
Wasswa has opened up on his first experience in his new role, juxtaposing with his past time as an active footballer.

"Coaching is very different from being a football player, and there are challenges that a coach goes through, but in my first year, I've not found any problems," Wasswa told Pulse Sports Uganda.
"Coaching is different from playing football because there are things coaches go through, including strategies, battles, analysis, and footballers don't go through all this; they only wait for the coach."

Despite a slow start to his KCCA FC tenure, head coach Sergio Traguil has been backed by former player and CAF coaches' instructor Mujib Kasule to lead the team to its glory days.
The CAF C License holder has also revealed his target in his new career, stressing how he intends to further his CAF coaching badges and go for top business.
"My target is to get all those licenses, work with the experienced coaches and learn as much as possible."

FOOTBALL CAF CC: Mujib Kasule backs KCCA to hit group stages
The Kasasiro Boys suffered a 3-1 defeat over a week back and will have to offer their best game when the two sides meet again on Saturday at the St. Mary's Stadium, Kitende.
"I'm not in a rush to be the head coach at the top clubs or teams at this time, but I want to take one step at a time, and with due time, my time will come, and I'll get to the top level," he added.
"It needs time, learning, developing, and working with top and experienced coaches, and I know I will make it as the best coach in Uganda."
Wasswa was one of the finest players of his generation and guided Uganda to the 2017 and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Gabon and Egypt, respectively.
He boasts over 75 official appearances for the Uganda Cranes, where he was appointed vice-captain to goalkeeper Dennis Masinde Onyango in the latter parts of his career.
