With a treble each, Haaland, Son, and Ferguson became only the second trio in Premier League history to hit hat-tricks on the same day and were the first to do so in the 21st century.

The trio joined Robbie Fowler, Alan Shearer, and Tony Yeboah in recording hat-tricks on the same day in the Premier League after the old-timers set the competition record in 1995.

Haaland and Ferguson also set or equalled individual league records with their goals on the day, with the Norwegian reaching 50 goal contributions and the Brighton starlet entering a very select group of Premier League youngsters.
