In 2021, he was part of the FC Minneapolis squad that made it to the Regional Finals of the US National Cup and made it to the United Premier Soccer League division semifinals, and the Champions of Regions semifinals that same year.

In 2022, Takan was also part of the City Lions playing squad that made it to the UPSL division semi-finals, which also won the Minnesota Fall Cup in the same season.

““It may not be possible to find a player like Aaron, and as a coach, I believe I have been exceptionally blessed to have coached him and gotten to know him more on a personal level," said the club head coach David Oluwalaamu.

"His commitment, discipline, faith, and ability are unrivalled, and it’s such a shame that injuries have robbed our game of such a beautiful player. We all wish him a great retirement and a fulfilling life outside football.”

Meanwhile, It should noted that Takan is a born of Uganda, who has spent several years in the United States both as a student and football player.
