Paris Saint-Germain reportedly have their sights set on Roma's Mourinho as Christophe Galtier's replacement.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keen on making Jose Mourinho their next manager, with Christophe Galtier expected to leave the role at the end of the season.

The 60-year-old is currently the manager of Roma in Serie A, but his future is up in the air, with his contract set to expire at the end of next season. With he and the club still some way apart in terms of reaching an agreement, PSG are said to be preparing an approach for the Portuguese to become the club's next coach.

Galtier's time at Les Parisiens is expected to end with the close of the season, and with the club in search of a replacement, former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is said to be the most preferred candidate to assume the role, according to GFFN.

The club's sporting director, Luis Campos, who facilitated Galtier's hiring, is reportedly interested in bringing in Mourinho, with whom they worked together at Real Madrid.

The Portuguese tactician is said to be preferred to other candidates due to their European pedigree. Although there are some concerns that his big personality would clash with some of the big players at the club, the club is still reportedly happy to approach him, and Mourinho is said to be willing to listen to offers from the club.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has reached another major milestone with the Ligue 1 giants in their 3-1 win over Lens in Gamweek 31

Mbappe opened the scoring against Lens in the 19th minute with a brilliant effort into the far corner to bring his tally for the 2022/23 season to 20 goals.

He also assisted PSG’s third goal for Lionel Messi, reaching 4 assists for the season, and combining with Messi for the 23rd time in Ligue 1 since the Argentine joined PSG, making them the most devastating duo in the league since the start of the 2021/22 season.
