Kitara, Mbarara City and NEC will host their Uganda Premier League games away from home.

The three newly-promoted StarTimes Uganda Premier League newcomers Kitara, Mbarara City and NEC will not play in front of their home fans after failing to uplift their facilities to minimum standards.

According to a release by the FUFA Club Licensing committee on Wednesday, Kitara has abandoned Hoima and moved to Masindi Stadium.

The club had announced plans to start construction of their own facility in town but the promise to finish it before the league kicks off next month seems to be far-fetched.

Mbarara City has also abandoned Kakyeka Stadium and chose to share Bombo Barracks with UPDF while NEC has moved to the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

Gaddafi FC has also confirmed returning to their Gaddafi Arena inside the barracks.

Eternal rivals Express and SC Villa will continue sharing the Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku as BUL maintains the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

URA FC has also chosen to settle in Lugazi at the mekhta Stadium.
