Kyetume has not lost a game in the StarTimes FUFA Big League against the promotion chasers drawing with Police and then beating NEC and Mbarara City at home.

Kyetume head coach David Mutono has dared Kitara ahead of their Startimes FUFA Big League fixture on Thursday.

Kitara has been a poor traveller throughout the season, winning only two games and will be travelling to a team that has had a piece of all the other three contenders for promotion in the division.

The Slaughters scratched a point against Police before beating both NEC and Mbarara City to move out of the relegation zone.

Despite their financial struggles, coach David Mutono has promised to put up a show that could knock Sam Ssimbwa’s side off their perch at the top.

“I’ve worked on the players' mental strength because we’re not doing well financially,” Mutono told Pulse Sports.

He warned: “We’re going to play Kitara like a final, just like any other team that’ll come our way because we need the points.”

Kitara is at the top of the table with 48 points, NEC follows closely by one point and Mbarara City and Police close the top four with 45 and 44, respectively. Kyetume is 9th with 33 points, three below the fifth position.
