According to the latest report, Lionel Messi will agree on a deal worth £320 million a year with Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.

The 35-year-old will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season after having some controversial issues with the club.

Lionel Messi is set to snub Barcelona and move to Saudi Arabia after being linked with a move back to Camp Nou in recent months. Barcelona have been unable to strike a deal with the Argentine due to their financial situation.

Messi set to accept Megadeal

El Chiringuito TV's recent report says Messi will accept the proposal tabled by Al-Hilal at the end of the season and join Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.

Messi will leave Paris at the end of the current season, according to recent reports. Barcelona and MLS team Inter Miami were both rumoured to be interested in signing the World Cup winner.

However, as it stands the 36-year-old will ignore other offers from USA and Europe and sign for Saudi Arabia side Al-Hilal who are the most successful team in the league.

Messi’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia has hastened his exit from Parc des Princes after being paid to become a tourism ambassador for the country.

Messi's unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia

Lionel Messi made an unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia and missed a training session with PSG which led to being fined and suspended by the club.

The PSG players were supposed to have the day off on Monday, but manager Christophe Galtier scheduled an additional training session after the team's 3-1 loss to Lorient.

However, Messi was unable to turn around because he was already travelling to Saudi Arabia, where he might be playing football in the upcoming season. The trip was not sanctioned by Galtier, nor by sporting director Luis Campos which led to the suspension of the PSG star.

Messi later apologised for missing the training session in a social media message to the team and the club on Friday.
