Alex Isabirye and Jackson Magera put a shift as their Vipers and SC Villa stepped up the fight for the StarTimes Uganda Premier League title.
Vipers head coach Alex Isabirye is the favourite for the coach of the month of April after winning eleven points in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League for his club during the period.
Isabirye has been shortlisted alongside SC Villa coach Jackson Magera and James Odoch of Express.
Isabirye guided his Venoms to three wins against Blacks Power at Kitende and then away against UPDF and Arua Hills.

In clinching the award, Magera defended the gong he won earlier in January. He also smiled home with one million shillings.
His side drew two games against Maroons and URA but he lost the battle when he went head-to-head with Magera’s Villa at Wankulukuku.
Magera also won the same number of games -three- but lost two, collecting nine points from a game less.
Magera scooped the other two previous awards for January and then for February/March period.
Odoch comes in as an outsider in this battle even though his points-per-game ratio of 2.0/game is the highest.
