What happened
Juventus’s finances were severely affected as a result of the pandemic in 2020, and they announced that they reached an agreement with their players and staff to forfeit four months of wages.
However, it was later uncovered that Juventus agreed to pay the players these wages at a later date, as they were deferred rather than forfeited.
After his exit from the club, Ronaldo moved to sue the Old Lady, alleging that they owe him €19 in unpaid wages, which they are defaulting on.

Juventus’s case
The case is still in court, and according to Tuttosport, Juventus lawyers are set to present two new pieces of evidence.
The first is that the infamous letter in which Juventus agreed to spread out wages and pay the players at a later date was not signed by the Al-Nassr star.
The second pertains to Manchester United, as Juventus’s legal team claims that Ronaldo’s eagerness to complete the deadline-day move to the Premier League giants saw him sign a waiver that absolves the Old Lady of any debt.
