The 30-year-old midfielder had a stint with English Premier League giants, Manchester United before he made the switch in the summer after five years.
Fenerbahce extended their unbeaten run to an incredible 20 matches across all competitions after a 5-0 demolition of Pendikspor.
Edin Dzeko was the star of the show as he netted an incredible hat-trick to lead Fenerbahce, who also had Super Eagles defender, Osayi-Samuel, in action to a big win on the road.

Fred started that encounter but did not finish the game after he picked up an injury that saw him substituted nine minutes into the clash.
