After Jürgen Klopp's unexpected announcement of his departure from Liverpool at the end of the season, speculation has been rife regarding his potential successor.
Among the names being bandied about is Brighton & Hove Albion's manager, Roberto de Zerbi.
Zerbi's Focus on Brighton's Current Season
De Zerbi, who has garnered attention for his commendable management at Brighton, is seen as a leading candidate to take over the reins at Liverpool.
However, the Italian manager has distanced himself from these speculations. In response to the rumours linking him with the Liverpool job, De Zerbi stated, "No news about that. My focus is on the end of this season. We want to focus on ourtargets.s"

Contractual Situation and Future Prospects
The Italian's current contract with Brighton is set to expire in June 2026. Despite talks of a new contract, there has been no recent update on this front. De Zerbi mentioned, "There is no new news about my contract but my focus is just on the last part of the year.”
He emphasised his ambition for Brighton, aiming for a repeat of last season's performance in the Premier League and success in the Europa League and FA Cup.
