Roberto Oliveira, alias Robertinho, the Simba SC coach, hopes to ensure the Tanzanian Club reaches the semifinals for the first time.

"Each of us realises that we have difficult matches ahead of us, so we need to make sure we play at the same pace in every game.

To achieve that, we must prepare well physically and mentally. We should put it in our mind we need to finish the game here in Dar and go away with something in hand," Robertinho said about the two-legged encounter.

Wydad Casablanca, the three-time African champions, topped Group A with relative comfort and wrapped up their pool phase by defeating Algeria's JS Kabylie 3-0.

The Moroccan side comes into the match with an impressive record, as they have not lost a match since February 17, when they lost 1-0 to JS Kabylie in the first leg of the tournament's group stages.

Coach Juan Carlos Garrido knows his side are favourites to overcome Simba but believes the Tanzanian side will be a formidable opponent.

"It's a duel that will be difficult, but the advantage we have is that the return match will be played in Casablanca," said Garrido.

Senegalese referee Issa Sy will oversee the match in Dar es Salaam. At the same time, his countryman Nouha Bangoura will serve as the first assistant referee the second assistant referee will be Hermann Desire Adou N'goh from Cote D'Ivoire.

Another official from Senegal, Daouda Gueye, will serve as the fourth official while Kenya's Moses Ojwang Osano is the referee assessor.

The Ugandan duo of Andrew Oryada and Mike Letti Letti will serve as media officer and match commissioner, respectively.

The return game is scheduled for Friday, April 28, at Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca.
