With the two draws and a win, URA have collected five points and are seventh on the 16-team log.

URA FC have defeated Kiyinda Boys 2-0 to warm up for their clash with Wakiso Giants in their next Startimes Uganda Premier League match.

Moses Aliro and Saidi Kyeyune scored for the Tax Collectors in a match played Wednesday morning in Gayaza.

URA FC secured their first win of the season in a 2-0 showdown with Gaddafi FC following a goalless draw with UPDF FC.

The Tax Collectors were then denied maximum points by Nelson Ssenkatuka’s leveller for Soltilo Bright Stars to draw 1-1.

With the two draws and a win, URA have collected five points and are seventh on the 16-team log.

The former UPL champions will be looking to collect more points and move up the table in their quest to arrest the trophy drought at the club.

Fred Muhumuza’s charges had the opportunity to win their first piece of silverware since 2014 but lost out to BUL FC in the FUFA Super 8 Tournament.

But with several signings made before the start of the season, the club will be confident of putting up a strong challenge for the top prize.
