Kyeyune's suspension came after a series of incidents that transpired in the lead-up to their highly anticipated FUFA Super 8 final.

Interim coach Fred Muhumuza, who has taken charge of the team since the passing of Sam Timbe, was notably disappointed by Kyeyune's actions and attitude during this critical period.

Kyeyune’s behaviour during a friendly game raised concerns among both his teammates and coaching staff.

During the friendly match, Kyeyune reportedly became frustrated with a teammate who he felt didn't pass the ball to him when he was in favourable positions.

This frustration escalated, and during halftime, Kyeyune informed the coaches that he would no longer participate in the game. Following a heated exchange, he was substituted out of the match.

Kyeyune then went on a defiant streak, failing to show up for training the following day, a clear breach of the club's code of conduct.

Instead, he reached out to team captain Hudu Mulikyi to express his concerns and challenges.

The captain advised him to communicate with the coaches to address his grievances. However, Kyeyune went on to assert that he wouldn't return to training, citing a perceived lack of respect within the team and recent treatment that had left him disheartened.

Muhumuza deemed Kyeyune's actions as crossing the line, leading to a swift decision to suspend the player.

Notably, Kyeyune was left out of the club's squad for the final match. The midfielder will have to engage in discussions with the coach to fully understand the extent of the sanctions imposed upon him, if any are to be handed down.

This suspension comes at a time when Kyeyune's role within the team has already been evolving.

He has not been a starter in any of URA FC's three games in the FUFA Super 8 tournament.

Additionally, his playing time and role on the field have been notably reduced since the arrival of midfielder Laban Tibita.
