Vipers SC have netted down the experienced forward Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez, making him the first ever Brazilian player in the team's history.

The 33 year-old joins St. Mary's Stadium Kitende to bolster the striking positions as they struggled for goals last season.

He has penned down a two-year employment contract and will thus be actively a Venom at least until 2025.

The South American kickstarted his senior career in his native, Brazil at Ferroviario in the 2012/13, joined EC Vitoria and later Treza FC in 2014.

The 1.95m tall attacker then moved to Indonesian side PSM Makassar in January 2020, before he departed later that year in December, for Bangladesh side Sheikh Russel.

His latest team was Brazilian outfit União Cacoalense-Ro, where he has traded for the past few months.
