BUL head coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko is raving and has asserted his team won't settle for anything less than three points.

FUFA Super 8 winners BUL FC will be aiming for maximum points as they take on Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende, on Friday.

It's a top-of-the-table clash as BUL sits at the apex with 26 points, while the Venoms occupy second with 24.

"We're playing a team which knows its pitch very well, but we're coming to play, and we want maximum points," Kikomeko told the club media.

He further highlighted how his team is not intimidated by night football under the floodlights, underlining their readiness to battle.

"We're prepared. Much as it's under floodlights, I don't see any difference of playing at around 7pm and at 4pm," Kikomeko said.

"The boys are prepared, and they're going to give us what it calls for in that game. Floodlights won't be an issue at all."

BUL are winless in their last two games, drawing one-all with each of NEC FC and Express FC.

"We drew our previous two games against NEC and Express, but we have corrected the mistakes, and I expect goals in the game," the tactician noted.

This will make it the 26th time the two teams are meeting in the league, with Vipers winning 16 of those compared to BUL's two, while seven have ended in stalemates.
