Sarri disclosed that he met with Mourinho before the match, telling IFTV, “I saw Mourinho before the game and I told him ‘you know you’re really a ballbreaker’. He replied ‘if it’s for that, so are you’.

The former Napoli coach also noted that the pair shared a profound admiration for each other, although he was not a fan of Mourinho’s antics.
“We like each other,” Sarri said, adding, “I like Mourinho the person, not Mourinho the character.”
Rome derby ends in feisty draw
The pair have had public fallings out in recent years, both in Italy, and when both managed in England, but all appears to be well with them on a personal level.
