UFC Israel Adesanya set for new contract, explains Francis Ngannou joining PFL

Adesanya is set to return in September, happy Ngannou left UFC for PFL.

Nigerian and New Zealand professional mixed martial artist Israel Mobolaji Adesanya has expressed the possibility of new terms with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Adesanya the reigning has reacted to Cameroonian-French mixed martial artist Francis Ngannou departing the UFC for the Professional Fighters League (PFL).

Francis Ngannou's historic agreement with the PFL, in Adesanya's opinion, will compel the UFC to alter the way it conducts business.

Ngannou's contract is a significant development, according to Adesanya, and it will affect the sport as a whole.

The Middleweight King claimed that Ngannou was the one to break down the door and bring about change in the industry when speaking on his YouTube channel.

He said,  "The UFC are not dumb. They'll take notice, they know how to adapt and when something like this happens in another field.

"It creates a big ripple in the game and a big enough ripple could force the UFC to change the way...maybe like a small change."

The Last Stylebender supported his ex-colleagues decision to leave the UFC.

He also praised Ngannou's dedication to the African continent. The Predator, according to Adesanya, is a high-stakes match for anyone.

Adesanya added, "He had no diva-ish demands, they were all reasonable.

"I really like how his opponent is guaranteed a million, how many fighters are going to be like 'right I need to get to the PFL?

"PFL Africa will be awesome, you can see the talent, the potential there."

Additionally, Adesanya announced that he will face the victor of the next championship eliminator between Robert Whittaker and Dricus Du Plessis in Sydney in September.
