Tennis legend Serena Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian enlarged their family after welcoming another bouncing baby girl on Tuesday.
The couple confirmed on social media that they had welcomed their second child, a daughter named Adira River.
"I'm grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and a happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful," Ohanian wrote on Instagram.
"Serenawilliams, you have now given me another incomparable gift—you're the GMOAT. Thanks to all the amazing medical staff."
"Your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.
Last year, Serena confirmed her decision to step away from professional tennis to focus on building her family and venture capital firm, Serena Ventures.
"Believe me; I never wanted to have to choose between tennis and a family," she was quoted by Vogue.
" If I were a guy, I wouldn't be writing this because I'd be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labour of expanding our family,"
"I quietly started Serena Ventures, a venture capital firm, a few years ago. Soon after that, I started a family. I want to grow that family."
Serena Williams is a 23-time grand slam champion, including seven Australian Open titles, three French Open, seven Wimbledons and six US Open triumphs.
