The Super Falcons of Nigeria continue preparation for their round of 16 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup clash against the Lionesses of England.

Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation ahead of the game against England was a significant role model as the Super Falcons finished up their pregame warmups.

The former Enyimba FC manager stayed during the entire practice on the Perry Park field and voiced confidence in the nine-time African champions to defeat the Three Lionesses in the shootout on Monday night at Lang Park.

Speaking to the NFF website, he said, “I am very impressed with the form the team has shown so far, and what I have seen at today’s training sessions.

"We have a strong squad capable of doing the business and we are backing them to go all the way.

Anyansi-Agwu also praised the High Commissioner, Ambassador Anderson Madubike for his involvement with the team.

He added, “Our High Commission officials have been super-committed to the noble project of supporting our ladies here, and they did a marvelous job in all the three matches of the group phase, from the first match against Canada in Melbourne.
