American record producer, DJ, record executive and rapper Khaled Mohammed Khaled, aka DJ Khaled, has hailed Denis Onyango’s Mamelodi Sundowns on their sixth consecutive league triumph.
Mamelodi Sundowns secured the DStv Premiership title on April 16 after settling for a 1-1 draw against Maritzburg United with an impressive seven games remaining to the end of the season.
“[Mamelodi] Sundowns, congratulations on another win, another title. They didn’t believe in us, but Sundowns did,” DJ Khaled says.

DJ Khaled made the call courtesy of the club’s partnership with global entertainment and sports agency Roc Nation Sports, owned by fellow American rapper Jay-Z.
The agency provides advice and consultation regarding transfers and the global football market from its London Office, according to a 2021 partnership.
The title is Onyango’s tenth league triumph making him the most decorated player in South Africa’s football history.
Onyango won three titles at SuperSport United from 2008 to 2010, seven with Mamelodi Sundowns.
