Having secured the transfer of Benjamin Šeško, who is expected to officially become a Red Devil tomorrow, Manchester United seems willing to part with Højlund, who hasn't quite lived up to his hefty price tag.

Milan has been searching for a striker, with Dušan Vlahović and Darwin Núñez previously linked to the club. However, those deals failed to materialise, leaving Højlund as the current primary target.

The Rossoneri will reportedly pay €5-6 million for the initial loan, with a €40 million fee next summer to make the move permanent.

Including potential bonuses, the total cost could reach €50 million. However, it's unclear whether the purchase option will be mandatory.
