While Brighton statistically ranks as Iwobi's second most frequent opponent for goals, the distribution of these goals reveals a distinct pattern compared to his record against Wolves.

There is a significant time gap between his first goal against Brighton in October 2017 (while at Arsenal) and his subsequent two goals in December 2024 (while at Fulham). Crucially, the latter two goals occurred within the same match, contributing a brace to his tally.

Eighteen of Iwobi's 31 Premier League goals were scored against nine clubs. The Nigerian scored two each against these clubs:

Burnley

Iwobi scored both goals against Burnley while at Arsenal, scoring in May 2018 in a 5-0 win and December of the same year in a 3-1 success.

Chelsea

While Iwobi has netted twice against Chelsea, neither ended in success for his team.

Playing for Arsenal in August 2018, the Gunners lost 3-2 at Stamford Bridge, despite Iwobi's goal putting them 2-2 level, and his strike to put Fulham 1-0 up in April 2025 did not suffice as Chelsea mounted a late comeback to seal a 2-1 success at Craven Cottage.

Crystal Palace

Another opponent Iwobi has scored two goals against, leading to wins. Both goals — scored in January 2017 and January 2018 — resulted in 2-0 and 4-1 victories for Arsenal.

Everton

Against one of his old clubs, Iwobi has also scored two. While at Arsenal, he scored in a 2-0 success over the Toffees in March 2016 and did likewise in October 2024 for Fulham, though Everton pegged back the Cottagers in a 1-1 draw.

Leicester City

While at Everton, Iwobi scored the equaliser against Leicester City in May 2023 in a 2-2 draw, and he scored the winning goal as a Fulham player against the same team in August 2024.

Manchester United

As an Everton player, Iwobi scored against Man Utd in October 2022, though his opening goal did not suffice as the Red Devils mounted a comeback to seal a 2-1 victory.

However, Iwobi got the better of Man Utd while playing for Fulham in February 2024, scoring a 97th-minute winner in a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford.

Nottingham Forest

Iwobi's two goals against Forest came in the same match as a Fulham player. The Nigerian scored a brace in December 2023's 5-0 victory against the Tricky Trees.

Watford

Iwobi’s two goals against Watford were scored while he was at Arsenal. The first came in April 2016 during a 4-0 win, while the second in January 2017 occurred in a 2-1 defeat for the Gunners at the Emirates.

One goal against four different clubs

Iwobi has scored only one Premier League goal against four different clubs: Huddersfield Town, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Stoke City, completing the detailed breakdown of his 31 goals.

While these four clubs represent Iwobi’s lowest frequency of scoring, the nature and timing of these single goals often highlight their significant impact.

For example, his goal against Huddersfield Town in the 2018-19 season opened the scoring for Arsenal en route to a 2-1 win.

The strike against Liverpool put Fulham ahead in a high-profile match, demonstrating his ability to deliver in important fixtures, as the Cottagers secured a 3-2 victory over the eventual champions in the 2024-25 season.

Most notably, the goal against Newcastle United was a dramatic late winner, scored in the ninth minute of second-half stoppage time, securing a vital victory for Everton.

His goal against Stoke City in December 2016 doubled Arsenal’s lead in their eventual 3-1 triumph.
