The former Arsenal man's strike came in the first half, with Iwobi playing a cool one-two with Antonee Robinson before slotting the ball into the near post.
Iwobi's Man of the Match display, which saw him don his favourite number, was enough to excite the Fulham faithful, and the Super Eagles playmaker has now reacted to his superb pre-season showing.
'Start As You Mean To Go On,' Iwobi posted on social media, alongside pictures of himself that included a beautiful silver boot given to the Nigerian by the organisers.

Smith Rowe, who has struggled with injuries and limited game time at the Emirates, has expressed his delight at joining Fulham in a £34million transfer, describing it as the "perfect step" for his career.
The performance of Iwobi in their preseason triumph over Benfica will have given the club's supporters a glimpse of the attacking flair they can expect to see from their team in the upcoming campaign even as the Cottagers continue to strengthen their team.
