The Greek-Australian tactician led the Scottish Premiership giants to a domestic treble this season and is set to leave the club after two seasons, having reportedly reached an agreement on terms with Spurs.

The Lilywhites have had a tumultuous year, firing manager Antonio Conte, and then his assistant who became the interim boss Cristian Stellini.

They ended the season with Ryan Mason in charge, and finished eight, meaning they failed to book any of their European spots.

They have been in search of a new man in charge, and the work Postecoglou was doing at Celtic piqued their interest. They sent in an offer, and according to the BBC, they will land their man, as he has agreed to take on the role.

Although the Celtic's job is the 57-year-old's first top-flight job in Europe, he has won the Australian title with South Melbourne and Brisbane Roar, and the Japanese title with Yokohama F Marinos.

He also has national team experience and success, leading the Australian national team to the 2015 Asian Cup.
