The result means Tunisia become only the second African nation to book their ticket for the expanded 48-team tournament, joining Morocco, who had already secured qualification.
This will be Tunisia’s seventh appearance at the World Cup, continuing their impressive record as one of Africa’s most consistent representatives on the global stage.
The Carthage Eagles now turn their attention to preparing for the finals in the United States, Mexico and Canada, with hopes of finally breaking past the group stage, a feat they have yet to achieve despite their long-standing presence at the tournament.
