Inter Miami have confirmed the signing of Argentina international Rodrigo De Paul from Atletico Madrid.

In a high-profile move that will initially see the midfielder join on loan before making the switch permanent in 2026.

The 31-year-old World Cup winner becomes the latest superstar to join the ambitious MLS side.

De Paul will link up with a talented midfield that already includes veterans Sergio Busquets, U.S. international Benjamin Cremaschi, and fellow Argentine Federico Redondo.

De Paul’s arrival was preceded by a farewell message from Atletico Madrid on social media, confirming his departure from the Spanish giants.

"From our club, we wish Rodrigo De Paul the best of luck in his future personal and professional endeavors," Atletico wrote in their statement.

Club co-owner David Beckham expressed his delight at securing the services of the experienced midfielder.

He said, "Rodrigo is a player I've admired for many years, as a leader, he has brought so much to the teams he has played for, especially with his national team, Argentina. He brings experience, passion, and quality to our team and to our city."

During his time in Spain, De Paul featured in 187 matches for Diego Simeone’s side, scoring 14 goals and 26 assists after joining from Udinese in 2021.
