Anthony Joshua has been suspended from the boxing ring by the British Boxing Board of Control.
This comes after his devastating knockout loss at Wembley against Daniel Dubois.
The two-time heavyweight world champion was soundly defeated by fellow Briton Dubois at London's Wembley stadium, earning him a 28-day boxing ban.
Fans were crammed into every available space in Wembley Stadium, eager for the match.
Fans were hoping that AJ would win gold for the first time since he had lost his title against Oleksandr Usyk in 2021.
The Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports mandates medical suspensions as one of their necessary duties after a fighter loses by TKO or KO.
For this reason, Joshua has been placed on temporary suspension by the British Boxing Board of Control.
Joshua does not, however, have any upcoming matches scheduled therefore, the break might not have a big impact on his goals.
The fight against Dubois was only his fourth loss as a professional boxer.
