Former Tottenham striker Darren Bent believes Arsenal should sell Eddie Nketiah and sign a new centre-forward who can score more consistently and fight for a starting berth with Gabriel Jesus.

Bent believes Arsenal must sell Nketiah

Nketiah has struggled for game time since Jesus came back into the team after his injury and has only made substitute appearances in that period, coming off the bench on five occasions, including the last 15 minutes of the 3-0 defeat to Brighton.

Bent told talkSPORT: "I think they will go again if they can get two more players to add to the quality they have already got. They are short in centre-midfield and should sign Rice or Caicedo.

"They need another centre-half, and I think I'd even try and get another striker in. As good as Jesus is and he is fantastic, he doesn't score enough goals and spends a lot of his time outside of the box.

"They need someone in there who is going to score goals, will put their head in there. I know Arsenal play that way, but I would let Eddie go and try and get another one in."
