Ballon d'Or: Ex-Manchester United defender believes Cristiano Ronaldo was robbed

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo should have one more Ballon d'Or award but he was robbed.

Ferdinand, an ex-Man United defender and club legend was hosting a session on Vibe with Five with popular social media star IShowSpeed.

Ferdinand believes Ronaldo was robbed of Ballon d'Or

Speed, who is one of the biggest and most vocal Cristiano Ronaldo fans, asked Ferdinand questions about Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, including who has the most Ballon d'Ors.

Ferdinand replied:

“Messi has more, Seven against five. Cristiano Ronaldo was robbed of the Ballon d’or in Modric’s year.”

Real Madrid's Luka Modric won the Ballon d’Or in 2018 after a stellar year for both club and country, helping Croatia finish runners-up to France at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

During that same season, Ronaldo, Modric's teammate, was a strong contender for his third consecutive Ballon d'Or award. In 44 games across competitions, the legendary forward scored 44 goals and delivered eight assists.
