Bayern Munich join the race to sign Man United flop Marcus Rashford

The German champions are actively searching for a winger and have been linked with several players, most notably Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams. However, with the Spanish international nearing a move to Barcelona, Bayern have shifted their focus.

This has led them to consider Rashford. The England international spent the latter half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, where he registered four goals and six assists in 17 appearances.

According to reports from Sportal, Rashford would prefer a move to Barcelona, but he might seriously consider a switch to Munich.

Manchester United have reportedly set a £40 million price tag for Rashford, but Bayern will hope to negotiate a lower fee.

His versatility in also being able to play as a central striker has further increased his appeal to the Bavarian club. While Harry Kane is the established starter up front, manager Thomas Tuchel lacks a high-quality backup.

Liverpool's Luis Diaz is another winger linked with Bayern in recent days, but the Colombian international is also reportedly attracting interest from Barcelona.
