'Be ready for competition at Barcelona' - Raphinha tells new signing Rashford
Rashford has joined Barcelona on a one-year loan deal after giving up ₦14 billion to seal Barcelona move.
The England international will be vying for a starting spot alongside Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Ferran Torres.
What Raphinha said to Rashford
Raphinha believes this will only push the squad to perform better as the Spanish champions aim for more silverware this season.
"When you play for this shirt, for this club, you have to be ready for the serious competition," Raphinha told Spanish newspaper Sport via Sportal.
"But the more competition we have, the better. It means we push each other to improve, and that's the most important thing if we want to win trophies," he added.
Last season was his most productive to date, registering 34 goals and 25 assists across all competitions.
"I always try to find my best form in training and matches throughout the season. I tried that last season, and it was better than the one before, so I'll try to make next season even better," Raphinha said.
