Bidco coach Akhulia reveals reason for Samuel Ndung’u’s impressive form

Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia has disclosed the secret behind striker Samuel Ndung'u's impressive form.

Ndung'u has scored six goals for Bidco having joined the club from Kenya Police FC at the beginning of the current football season.

The 29-year-old forward is one of the big reasons behind Bidco's form in the last five matches, and Akhulia has lifted the lid on the secrets behind the striker's resurgence. 

"We've just worked on him in terms of giving him confidence and showing him that he can play. When the season started he was low but he and (Ezekiel) Okare have picked themselves up and now it's showing through the goals," he said.

Ndung'u has one of the best mindsets Bidco United fans have seen from an experienced footballer, which is paying off for him now.

The striker could end this term as the club's leading scorer, which means suitors will start approaching for his signature.

Bidco's plan for him remains to be determined, but sources at the Thika-based side indicate that the club cannot stand in the way of any player should a better opportunity arrive.

He was part of the Law Enforcers team that was promoted to a top-flight and had previously played for AFC Leopards, Mt Kenya United, Mathare United and Muhoroni Youth.
