According to German outlet Kicker, Erik ten Hag is reportedly the leading candidate to succeed Xabi Alonso. 

Alonso is expected to take over from Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid, who will leave the club at the end of the season.

Ancelotti has been mentioned as a potential candidate for international management, with reports suggesting a 12-month agreement with the Brazilian national team.
