Giants had to hold their nerves to beat Geda Robles from Ethiopia 4-2 in post-match penalty mark kicks following a goalless draw at the Azam Complex.

Enock Bagenda, Jovan Katuramu, Najibu Nasifu and Thomas Ogema all converted their kicks as their keeper Patrick Katumba saved twice.

The win also served as perfect revenge for the Ethiopians who had walloped them 4-0 in the group stages.

On top of qualification, the school also won $100,000 (shs. 370 million) as a cash prize from CAF.
