 Charles Agada's stunning hat-trick propelled Nigerian grassroots club Malvon into the quarter-finals of the prestigious Viareggio Cup.

Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Agada and his Mavlon teammates are one of four Nigerian teams in the last eight after a thrilling win against Italian club Fiorentina.

The Golden Eaglets striker netted the decisive goal as 10-man Mavlon beat Florentina 3-2 in the first knockout round.

Agada has now incredibly scored seven goals in just four games in the coveted Italian youth tournament.

The lethal frontman's latest goal glut makes him the leading scorer at the Viareggio Cup ahead of the Beyond Limits duo of Kparobo Arierhi and Farouq Ogundare.

Agada also lit up the group stages with his eye for goal, terrorising defenders throughout.

His sensational form in front of goal has powered Nigeria's next generation to the last eight in pursuit of glory.

At just 17 years old, Agada is announcing himself again as one of Africa's most precocious young talents after showcasing his sensational talent with Nigeria U17s, the Golden Eaglets.

Farouq Ogundare of Beyond Limits also has a hattrick in the Viareggio Cup.

His ruthless finishing is firing Nigeria's hopes of conquering the Viareggio Cup.

Agada and his Mavlon side will have their hands full in the last eight when they face Alex Transfiguration in what is an all-Nigerian quarterfinal clash.
