Chiamaka Nnadozie: Super Falcons goalkeeper celebrates end of pre-season with Brighton

Super Falcons of Nigeria goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has successfully concluded her pre-season training with Brighton & Hove Albion Women’s Football Club.

The 24-year-old shot stopper showcased her skills during an intensive training camp in Spain.

Nnadozie made a name for herself at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup as one of the youngest goalkeepers to represent Nigeria on such a global stage.

She proceeded to pursue a career in France where she made history with several big performances before a move to Brighton.

Nnadozie put pen to paper on a move to Brighton and proceeded to represent Nigeria at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

She would play a critical role as the Super Falcons came back from two goals to defeat Morocco and win their 10th WAFCON title.

Upon her heroics with Nigeria she made her official resumption with Brighton ahead of the new season.

The club welcomed her for her achievement at the WAFCON as well as nomination for the Yachine Trophy.

On her debut, Nnadozie was named in the starting lineup and was able to keep a clean sheet.

She went viral for her comments on the change of training intensity from France to England.

Now, Nnadozie has given her followers an update on the end of pre season with the team.

Along with photos was a message that said, "PRE SEASON DONE AND DUSTED.

Nnadozie is expected to make her debut when Brighton takes on West Ham in their opening game of the Women’s Super League (WSL) on Sunday, August 30, 2025.
