The eight-time champions were in demolition mode and shot 15-for-33 from downtown to make light work of the opponent.

The start was perfect for Mandy Juruni’s charges, who got going early with the three-ball falling from everywhere on the floor.

Fayed Baale was four-for-seven from distance on his way to 12 points, while Titus Lual was dominant on the inside, shooting seven-for-eight in the paint to contribute 23 points.

Oilers led 26-18 after the first quarter and stretched the lead to 11 points (47-36) at the long break.

A dominant second-half show saw Oilers finish off the job to win by 30 points and record their 15th win of the season.

James Okello contributed 10 points, while Tonny Drileba and Caesar Kizito added nine points apiece.

Pauti Ozias Kikomba’s double-double of 10 points and 16 rebounds was insufficient as the five-time champions succumbed to their eighth loss of the season.

Elvis Mpeti Bwanka and Guellord Mobanza contributed 13 and 11 points, respectively, for Power.
