Dan Azeez: British boxer set to fight in Nigeria on Independence Day

British boxer Dan Azeez is preparing to for his first fight on Nigerian soil scheduled for October 1, 2025.

The event, titled "Chaos in the Ring," will be hosted at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.

Azeez has been able to created a formidable reputation in the light-heavyweight division.

Since his journey began in March 2018, he has an impressive record of 20 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw, with 13 of those victories coming by knockout.

Azeez took to his official social media platform to detail the massive boxing event in Nigeria.

Along side a video was a statement that said, "The Return of the Super.

"Dan Azeez comes home to fight in Lagos on Nigerian Independence Day."

Azeez headlines the event that features other massive international bouts featuring Ghanianian star Elvis Ahorgah.

This is not the first time the 35-year-old Azeez United who was born in London, United Kingdom will visit Nigeria.

Azeez has decided to embrace his Nigerian roots during the start of the year visiting the West African country for the holidays.

He took to social media to show off what he has been up to during his visit to the country getting involved with several young boxers as they sharpened their tools.

Azeez branded Iyana Ipaja in Lagos State, Nigeria as a Ghetto and is now set for his first fight in the country this October.
