Granit Xhaka, the former Arsenal captain is nearing a return to Germany with Bayer Leverkusen.
The Gunners are set to complete a big-money move for West Ham captain Declan Rice and, an exit for Xhaka makes sense for both parties.
Xhaka set for Leverkusen move
According to The Athletic, Arsenal will receive €25million for the 30-year-old as Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso looks to add experience and extra quality to his side.
Xhaka was instrumental for Mikel Arteta's men last season as they fought hard but ultimately lost in the race to win the Premier League.
