Find out the top Premier League teams' return date and opening fixtures for pre-season

While fans of Premier League football are engulfed in the comings and goings of the summer transfer window, several supporters are curious to know when pre-season begins for their beloved teams.

Arsenal players are expected to return for pre-season on Monday July 3, while players who have been involved in international duty are expected back July 8.

Arsenal's first pre-season game will be against Nurnberg on July 13.

Just like Arsenal, some Chelsea players will report to Cobham on July 3 while players involved in Internationals will get an extra week. 

Pochettino's men play their first game of pre-season against Wrexham in North Carolina on July 19.

Manchester United players are expected back at Carrington on July 6 while players who participated in internationals are allowed an extra week's rest.

The Red Devils play their first pre-season friendly against Leeds in Norway on July 12.

As a result of finishing the season two weeks after everyone else thanks to their historic treble, Manchester City players will return to training July 17. 

Pep Guardiola will lead his team against Yokohama Marinos on July 23.

Liverpool's pre-season begins on July 8 while players involved in Internationals are expected back on July 11. The Reds begin pre-season with a game against German side Karlsruher SC on July 19.
