Drake stakes massive ₦465M on Canada to defeat Lionel Messi’s Argentina in Copa America semi-final

Popular hip-hop artist Drake has made a bold prediction ahead of Canada's Copa America semi-final against Lionel Messi's Argentina.

The rapper is a Canadian citizen and ambassador for the popular betting company Stake.

It is not the first time Canadian rapper Drake has placed a bet on sports.

A few months ago, he placed a huge bet on the fight between Antony Joshua and Ngannou which he lost.

Social media users frequently make fun of Drake for being "cursed" because he lost £551,000 following Dricus Du Plessis' victory over Sean Strickland at UFC 297 and a six-figure sum following Anthony Joshua's knockout victory over Francis Ngannou.

Argentina are heavy favourites to defeat Canada which makes Drake's bet quite risky, high risk, high reward.
