Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim expressed his disappointment and frustration with his team's performance after a defeat to West Ham.
The loss, which marked their 17th of the season, left United 16th in the table with two games remaining.
What Amorim said
He said, "Embarrassed and it's hard to accept. Everybody has to think seriously about a lot of things here."
He continued, "We have to change a lot of things at the end of the season."
The Portuguese manager highlighted his team's lack of defensive urgency as a major concern.
He said, “The biggest concern is that feeling that 'we cannot change and it's ok'. We're losing the feeling that we are a massive club."
He added, "We need to be really strong in the summer, we need to be brave."
With the Europa League final approaching, Amorim's focus remains on addressing the team's league struggles.
United face Chelsea and Aston Villa in their final two matches, but the manager's words suggest that bigger changes are needed beyond just the upcoming fixtures.
