Endrick settles iconic friendly between England and Brazil
Brazil began the game with huge momentum, with Rodrygo testing Jordan Pickford and VinÃcius Júnior denied by Kyle Walker.
Unfortunately for England, Walker, who started as captain, limped off due to injury after 20 minutes.
.Both teams created numerous chances in an action-packed first half, and Brazil goalkeeper FabrÃcio Bruno made a crucial block to thwart Ollie Watkins.
With game looking destined to end in a draw, Endrick and Kobbie Mainoo entered the fray for either side, and the 17-year-old Endrick broke the deadlock, slotting home after Pickford saved VinÃcius Júnior’s initial shot.
Brazil secured victory, ending their four-game winless streak and handing England their first defeat in 11 matches since the World Cup exit.
