Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has shared his disappointment following his latest injury, which is set to keep him sidelined for several weeks.

The injury occurred during United's 2-1 victory against Manchester City on Sunday.

Taking to his official social media channels, Mount conveyed the depth of his frustration.

"Words can’t portray how devastated I’m feeling right now," he wrote.

He also described his immediate reaction to the injury, suggesting he understood the severity of it at the moment it happened.

"You could probably see the look on my face when it happened. I knew what it meant," Mount explained.

Addressing Manchester United fans directly, Mount reassured them of his unwavering commitment and determination to overcome this injury challenge.

"United fans, you may not know me too well yet but one thing I can guarantee, I will never give up or lose faith," he affirmed.

He reiterated his dedication to working hard and returning to the pitch as soon as possible.

"I’ve said this before, but I will continue to give everything, get through this tough period and won’t stop until that’s achieved," Mount concluded.
