Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has launched a partnership that will see FKF Women's Cup teams receive bumper bonuses.

The partnership with betting company BetPawa comes ahead of the highly anticipated 2025 FKF Women's Cup kick-off.

The federation, led by President Hussein Mohammed, unveiled the partnership on Tuesday, April 29, during the draw.

As part of the partnership, FKF Women's Cup players and coaches will enjoy matchday bonuses throughout the tournament from BetPawa.

Dubbed the "Locker Room Bonus," the initiative will see financial rewards distributed immediately after each match, ensuring that success on the field translates directly into tangible benefits for the teams and individuals involved.

Speaking during the launch, FKF boss Mohammed, hailed the collaboration as a game changer.

This collaboration with BetPawa is a game-changer for the FKF Women’s Cup. The Locker Room Bonus initiative provides financial relief to female players while raising the tournament’s profile by rewarding exceptional performances," he stated.

The FKF Women’s Cup is a key pillar in Kenya’s football scene, significantly contributing to the development of young talent and offering direct routes to professional leagues and the national team.

2023/24 FKF Women's Premier League Champions Kenya Police Bullets will take part in the 2025 FKF Cup.

The preliminary round will see high-profile clashes as FKF Women's Premier League champions Police Bullets take on Thika Starlets following Tuesday’s draw.

Another high-profile clash pits Ulinzi Starlets against TUK Ravens, while Gaspo Women face off against Kibera Soccer Women.

Vihiga Queens will take on Gene Queens, while Kayole Starlets will tackle Makolanders.
