Future Eagles stars guide Beyond Limits into historic Cup final in Italy
Flying Eagles stars Farouq Ogundare and Kparobo Arierhi were instrumental as Nigerian club Beyond Limits qualified for the Viareggio Cup final in Italy.
Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Ogundare and Kparobo combined for one of the goals as Beyond Limits earned a 2-1 victory over compatriots Ojodu City on Saturday.
Flying Eagles wonderkids shine
Highly-rated midfielder Ogundare continued to dazzle in the Viareggio as he set up the opening goal for talented striker Arierhi.
The forward made no mistakes as he slotted underneath the goalkeeper to give Beyond Limits an early lead against the Ojodu boys.
No Limits held on to make more history having gone through the entire tournament undefeated so far.
The Nigerian U20 internationals have sparkled throughout the prestigious youth competition in Italy, combining to devastating effect in attack. Their latest impressive performances helped Beyond Limits continue their fairytale showing, with another prodigy, Isaac Chukwudi, netting the decisive winner.
In the final, Beyond Limits will face Brazzaville of Congo after the latter beat another Nigerian club Mavlon FC in the other semifinal.
But on the evidence of their form propelled by FUTURE EAGLES Ogundare and Arierhi, Beyond Limits will fancy completing an unthinkable underdog story by lifting the trophy.
